Fall Season Pitching Training, Power comes in all Sizes

" KC " Cearley, Pitching in the Fog in 2009
.

Fall Season Training has started and Kelsey Cearley"KC", is doubling-up on her
pitching training for the 2009-2010 Season. Her goal is to increase her location and overall speed and power on her movement pitches. At only 80 pounds, KC can do it all... leading the way again in 2010. This time with Team Spark of Federal Way,WA.
.
KC trains at: LFA FASTPITCH ACADEMY 2610 Bay St (click here for map) Tacoma WA 98421.

" KC is one of the strongest pound for pound pitchers I have ever trained. An inspirational athlete. Sometimes you don't know if the next season will be there for her as a pitcher? She just never gives up-no matter what." - coach Adam

She is just so compact as an athlete and you wonder if she is going to grow physically? The key to her success, KC is an athlete, dedicated to her diet, training program and brings the attitude that she can do anything with a softball!! I like that about KC. She never gives up no matter what. I have pitchers twice her sized observing KC's pitching bio-mechanical dynamics, otherwise known as her style and technique. It's different than the fundamental application to pitching basics. KC has trained to use physics, not pitching basics, to give her the edge at 80+ pounds. If KC get her arm to move faster as a whip instead of just a big strong arm that moves slow compared to most heavier pitchers, she will continue to improve and reach her next potential. With several championships under her belt, that kind of quantum momentum can give an 80 pound pitcher a huge psychological advantage over her beefier competition."

Great things do come in small packages. Amazing softball story and amazing acts of the purest character witnessed in sports history, by softball players for softball players and fans.
