Amazing Story about Sportsmanship:

About LFA Academy Pitchers and Hitters:
Adam conducts weekly Pitching and Hitting Camps for several ASA Teams of all age divisions the last 9 years in Washington. Many high school players have trained with Adam from Seattle, Tacoma, Puyallup and Graham, Wa. Some of Adam’s High School Players reached the Division Finals Championships in 2007-2008 and won High School State Championships back to back.

LFA Players placing Top Ten at ASA Nationals in 2007-2008 seasons with their respected 16a and 18gold teams. Those players have all received college offers. Some of those players are currently playing college level softball.

Coach Adam has Trained some outstanding Pitchers in 2008-2009. Known as "LFA Pitchers" several of these Academy Trained pitchers have won several championships and simply capable of dominating their future competition:

  • Mt Rainier High School Varsity and JV Pitchers, Sunny and Maddie Dorhoffer,O'Keefe twins-Kelsey and Christy.
  • Lakes High School Starting Varsity Pitcher, Steph Shupe-Freshman.
  • Washington High School Starting Varsity Pitcher,Detra Newman-Soph
  • Hazen High school Varsity (prospect)Pitcher,Kelsey Knaus-Soph

  • 2007-2008 Camile Depew-Senior,All-State-Pitcher/Catcher,Seattle Lutheran High,2008-2009 WWU prospect. http://wwuvikings.cstv.com/sports/w-softbl/mtt/wwu-w-softbl-mtt.html

  • Vashaela Naranjo, a travel ball extraordinary pitcher and leader from 2002 to 2007 in all areas of Fastpitch Softball. Dominated her competition from an early age and had her share of challenges. A starting pitcher with 2006 16A Acers Glenn, placed 9th at Nationals in outstanding performances on the mound. Shay had an ability to make everyone around her "better" and was a college stand-out recruit at ASA/NSA Colllege Exposure Tournaments around the Country. This Legend of Auburn Washington will be missed by all who knew "Shay" and the game she loved. Shay became the inspiration behind many successful Select and College pitchers today. Also, the motivation behind LFA and her godfather, Adam, trainer/coach. Shay's training attitude and dedication changed fastpitch pitching training standards and how they should be conducted in the future.

    Many others...

Coach Adam also has been prospected for high school, college and professional coaching assignments from years of developing champion fastpitch pitchers and hitters.

"Any age can develop skills but only through experienced quality instruction."

Congratulations to Kelli Bornander, Freshman-Varsity Pitcher for Northern State University.

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – The Northern State University Wolves garnered their second win of the young 2009 season on Monday, claiming a 5-3 decision over NCAA Central Region foe Chadron State in NSU’s second game of the day. The win, which improves the Wolves’ season record to 2-7 heading into Tuesday’s action, comes after dropping a 7-2 decision to Tiffin to open the day.

Kelli Bornander picked up her first collegiate victory on Monday, tossing 5 and 2/3 innings in NSU's 5-3 victory over Chadron State at the Rebel Spring Games in Kissimmee, Fla. Bornander, a freshman, recorded seven strikeouts while issuing just one walk in 24 batters faced in the game.
The win earned Kelli Athlete of the week honors at her college.
